Relationships may come and go. Marriages may end or become stagnant. People will disappoint or be unreliable at times, but God is always faithful and He loves us.
I’ve included a few examples from the scriptures.
He is our shepherd gently leading, refreshing, and restoring us. See Psalm 23
He protects us and provides us rest and refuge. See Psalm 91 and Psalm 121
For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him. See Psalm 103:11
He loves us with an everlasting love See Jer 31:3
Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. See Isa 53:4-5
His compassions never fail and are new every morning. See Lamentations 3:22-23
He sent His son to die for us. See John 3:16
And I really like how Paul conveyed it in Rom 8, so will share this last scripture though there are many more that show just how much we are loved by God
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Give that some thought! Amazing isn’t it?
How will you shine today?
